Authors and Contributors

A byline here means one thing: this contributor is responsible for the accuracy and structure of that page, and for handling any correction reported against it.

We do not publish credentials, certifications, employers, photographs or years of experience for contributors. That is a deliberate choice rather than an omission. None of it would be verifiable to a reader, and on a site that publishes only definitional and structural explanation, none of it changes whether an explanation is correct. What matters is the method, which is documented on the methodology page, and the review checklist, which is on the fact-checking page.

Brex Card Editorial Team

Research and publishing team. Focus: site-wide reference pages, taxonomy and internal linking. The editorial team maintains the reference structure of this project: how card, spend management and expense management topics are defined, grouped and cross-referenced.

Daniel Kovacs

Lead researcher, corporate card programs. Focus: corporate cards, charge card mechanics, card issuance models. Daniel writes the structural explainers on this site: how corporate card programs are organised, how charge and credit structures differ, and how card issuance interacts with company finance workflows. He works from public documentation, regulatory material and standard industry practice.

Mira Rahman

Researcher, spend and expense operations. Focus: spending controls, budgets, expense automation, finance workflows. Mira covers the operational side of card programs: control hierarchies, budget structures, receipt and approval workflows, and the reconciliation steps that connect card transactions to accounting records.

Jonas Lindqvist

Researcher, startup and growth finance. Focus: startup spending, SaaS purchasing, scaling finance teams. Jonas focuses on how early-stage and scaling companies structure card access, software spending and expense policy as headcount grows, and how those needs differ from established corporate finance functions.

Responsibility is split by cluster rather than by page count, so that a shared definition has a single owner and does not drift between pages.

Pages that sit between clusters — the solutions hub, the finance teams page and the company reference pages — are written jointly, with the editorial team owning the final structure.

• No contributor holds a commercial, advisory or partnership relationship with a card provider
• No contributor is compensated by any third party for anything published here
• No contributor accepts topic requests, drafts or edits from outside parties
• No contributor writes in the voice of a provider or claims official status
• Any conflict of interest, if one ever arose, would be declared on the affected page and in the editorial policy

Corrections are routed to the contributor who owns the relevant cluster; shared definitions are reviewed by the editorial team so that a fix in one place does not leave a contradiction somewhere else. The route for reporting is on the contact page.

Contributor names identify research responsibility within this project. They do not represent, speak for, or imply any relationship with Brex or any other card provider.
